However, in this article we are going to present you the creamy, yellow turmeric-lentil soup which will be real cure during the winter days.
The ingredients that this soup contains are turmeric, apples, and lentils, and they have beneficial medical properties. Turmeric is one extremely potent anti – inflammatory food, and since the inflammation is the main cause of numerous illnesses, it alleviates the following health issues:

– Turmeric lentil soup with coconut milk
• 1 teaspoon turmeric powder;
• 1 1/2 cup coconut milk;
• 2 apples, cored and grated;
• 2 cups red lentils;
• 1 teaspoon coconut oil;
• 1 teaspoon cumin;
• 1 onion, diced finely;
• 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon;
• 1 teaspoon salt;
• 2-3 cup hot water.
Initially rinse the red lentils with cold water, than leave them to drain. Melt the coconut oil in a pot and sauté the onions until they become soft and golden. After that, add the turmeric and the apples, and cook for two minutes. Stir frequently and add the water and the lentils. Next, boil the mixture, cover the pot and then simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the coconut milk and the spices and simmer the mixture until the lentils become soft. If you prefer it to be thinner, add a cup of water in the mixture and leave it to simmer for 2 more hours.
The soup should be served warm, and it should also be garnished with pumpkin seeds and coconut shavings. Enjoy the soup!
